There are a plethora of insanely cute Pals to stumble upon on the incredibly large Palworld map. From big to small, fire to ice, and one that kind of looks like a dog/human hybrid, here are some of our favorites (and our unanimous least favorite).
One of the best early game mounts boasting both ice and dragon types, Chillet has the opportunity to level into a powerful Pal that you can easily keep in your party into the mid game. Chillet might be #55 in the PalDeck, but it takes the coveted #1 in our hearts - it’s the ears for us.
This long-necked, gentle giant is currently the profile picture across Pocket Pal’s social channels, and it’s easy to see why. Packed with high-quality pal oil and a ruby or two, Relaxaurus is one of the scariest pals you run into if you aren’t leveled, but it’s also one of the cutest. It also might be one of the few Pals that doesn’t have a Pokémon counterpart.
This charming electric hedgehog kicks off our S Tier. Jolthog's standout feature is its specialization in one thing: Electricity. With Generating Electricity Level 1 and occasional Electric Organ drops, it's wise to keep one (or three) around the base at all times.
This adorable Pal, kind of resembles a Pomeranian if you look close enough, and isn't much of a fighter, but its fluffy design makes it worth keeping around. Cremis is truly a man's best friend; we'd choose one over Vixy any day of the week, sorry!
Tanzee holds a special place among our favorite Pals, not only for those big eyes but also for its utility. Its versatility is off the charts, with Level 1 planting, handiwork, lumbering, transporting, and gathering. It's really a jack of all trades both on the base and in our hearts.
Lifmunk is Palworld's closest equivalent to a Grass-type starter Pal, and its glowing red eyes are of the cute variety. Lifmunk isn't just adorable, but also invaluable around the base, providing drops like Berry Seeds and Low-Grade Medical Supplies. With Level 1 skills in planting, handiwork, lumbering, medicine, and gathering, it's no surprise they chose Lifmunk as the face of the glowing green effigy.
Teafant, a teacup-sized water elephant, is simply adorable. Its Level 1 watering ability allows it to tend to crops and other tasks without any distractions. Hooray for Teafant!
It's unclear whether Foxparks should be classified as a Fire-type starter or simply a cuter version of Flareon, but this little ball of fire is likely to catch your eye early on in Palworld exploration. While it doesn't evolve into anything special or possess particularly useful attributes, it serves as decent kindling in the game's early stages.
On paper, Lovander seems like a Pal you'd want in your party throughout the late game. With a decent move set and the Heart Drain passive, which offers a rare means of HP recovery, Lovander appears highly desirable. However, it's exceptionally rare to come across, and for whatever reason, it sits at #69 in the Paldeck…
