Where new species cluster
- Sunreach sky islands (region exclusives)
- World Tree depths (endgame spawns)
- Wildlife Sanctuaries (rebuilt layouts, unique bosses)
- Seven small biome islands (volcano, desert, ruins themes)
Variants reuse familiar silhouettes with new elements or stats. Treat them as Paldex entries plus breeding shortcuts, not reskins only.
Capture strategy
- Only 5 catches needed for species bonus now
- Predator Pals spawn rarely across the whole map (no fixed pins)
- Lucky Pals start at higher rank and drop enhancement items
